For the fifth year in a row, mdg’ers performed Random Acts of Kindness as a way to spread a little more love in the world. The initiative originally began in response to the Sandy Hook shootings in Newtown, Conn. In an effort to honor the 26 innocent lives lost on December 14, 2012, agency employees (and a few clients) performed 26 Random Acts of Kindness. Each year since, we have collectively performed one good deed each day in January—surprising strangers, donating to charitable causes and generally acting in ways that demonstrate compassion for those in our communities. This year, in celebration of the agency’s 40th year in business, we upped the number of good deeds to forty. See our Random Acts of Kindness (and maybe be inspired to perform your own?!) on Twitter @mdgsocial or on Facebook.
