The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has selected mdg as the exclusive marketing partner for newly acquired Content and Communications World (CCW) and Satellite Communications Conference and Expo (SATCON). Purchased from JD Events, CCW and SATCON are held annually in November in New York City.
According to Michelle Kelly, Senior Vice President of Marketing at NAB, “We have selected mdg to market the new additions to our portfolio based on the agency’s reputation for strategically identifying and seizing opportunities to develop markets and marketshare for events with similarly high potential. mdg will serve as an integral extension of the NAB marketing team to attract more innovative exhibitors and qualified buyers to these two events that are becoming increasingly important to the content community.”
CCW is one of the largest media technology events on the east coast, targeting content creation, management and delivery technologies. SATCON offers education and exhibits serving companies in the satellite-enabled communications and content delivery industry. “We are excited for the opportunity to market these co-located events and help them realize their full potential,” states Kimberly Hardcastle-Geddes, mdg President. “We will focus on leveraging the combined strengths, relationships and assets of the well-regarded events in conjunction with those of the NAB brand to increase participation from under-represented categories and geographic regions.”
The next CCW and SATCON are scheduled to take place November 12-13, 2014 at Javits Convention Center.
