MONROVIA, CA (July 22-24, 2014) — The National Show for Pet Retailers™, SuperZoo, proved once again why it’s known as the most popular event for independent pet store retailers in North America. A record-breaking 22,987 pet industry professionals took over the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, continuing the show’s unprecedented growth in attendance, exhibitors and square footage for the 5th consecutive year.

Simply put, SuperZoo 2014 surpassed expectations. This year’s show saw an astounding 18 percent increase in attendance compared to SuperZoo 2013, garnering a total of 16,640 registered attendees. On the expo floor, more than 1,900 booth spaces were filled by 910 exhibiting companies to transform the 192,510 square feet show floor into an entirely new world; all designed to help the pet industry professional to discover which new products are trending the marketplace, learn business best practices and network with other professionals in the industry.

“The unbelievable passion and hunger for more exuded by our attendees and exhibitors is what drives us to continue to find ways to grow the show,” exclaims Doug Poindexter, President of WPA. “Whether that’s increasing square footage and booth spaces, or adding value through a keynote speaker. SuperZoo 2014 was a phenomenal show, and we are very proud to be the industry event for retailers in North America.”
