Hardcastle-Geddes to Write Monthly Column in PCMA Convene
Convene magazine, the leading meetings industry publication for educational content and professional development, is launching a new marketing column with Kimberly Hardcastle-Geddes acting as contributing editor. Convene has won numerous awards from Association Media & Publishing, the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE), the American Society of Business Publication Editors (Azbee), Trade Association Business Publications International (TABPI), Association TRENDS and the Society of Publication Designers.
The marketing column will debut in the May issue of Convene as a cooperative venture with mdg, the country’s leading marketing and public relations agency specializing in event and association marketing. Content will be written for event organizers looking for ideas, information and inspiration to increase engagement, event attendance and ultimately their bottom lines. Specifically, the column will cover topics like strategic and tactical planning, international marketing, messaging best practices, new digital tools and technologies and more.
Hardcastle-Geddes will lean on her network of industry peers, mdg’s marketing strategists and specialists, content from conferences in the event and association space and her own 17 years of experience for advice, content and direction.
