Washington, D.C. — As part of its expanding suite of audience acquisition products and services, mdg, A Freeman Company has launched the “Final Countdown” program. With the introduction of this targeted offering, event producers can now quickly mobilize the agency’s services to drive last-minute registrations in the six to 10 weeks before a show, adding additional bandwidth and specialized talent during a time when many internal teams are at capacity.
In 2022, 59% of event-goers registered in the last five weeks leading up to a show, according to Freeman Research. While not a replacement for early planning and full-scale strategy, Final Countdown allows event organizers to take advantage of mdg’s capabilities to navigate the critical last-minute registration push and respond to real-time data.
“In addition to providing internal teams with extra support when they most need it, the Final Countdown is especially beneficial for those who aren’t seeing their registration pacing at the levels they had anticipated,” notes mdg President Kimberly Hardcastle-Geddes.
How it works: Upon engagement, one of mdg’s data analysts will review who has and has not registered for an event and identify who among the unregistered segment will be most likely to convert in the final weeks. Using this information, a dedicated team of specialists will target this group through proven last-minute conversion tactics, including digital media optimization, email activations and compelling offers customized to an audience.
Sales of this program will be limited to three per quarter to guarantee dedicated client resources are available. Two spots remain for spring 2023 events. Rates average $28,500, including $8,000 in paid media spend.
