mdg has a 42-year track record of delivering outstanding results to its clients, on time and on budget. But don’t just take our word for it…
Working with mdg was a true partnership. They took the time to understand our very specific situation and applied unique strategies and tactics aimed at growing our distributor attendance in a consolidating market while seamlessly integrating into our teams’ operations. As partners, mdg has really challenged our group to think differently, and collectively, in 2019 we exceeded our goals to have among the most successful events in the show’s history. With the momentum we’ve really positioned our event for a complete transformation, not only in location, but in education, technology and marketing—and we’re excited to see what’s in store for 2020.
mdg makes a concerted effort to know our industry, our audience and our exhibitors and to come up with ideas to make our event marketing original and memorable.
mdg’s branding expertise—specifically their collaborative approach to research, proactive communication, and data-driven Board communications and engagement—helped us to reposition and modernize our annual event to better align with our organization brand and strategic plan. mdg is a true collaborative, strategic and creative partner in every sense of the word.
I wanted to let you know how impressed and pleased I was with your team’s creative work. I appreciate the out-of-the-box thinking that went into the concepts you proposed. All four options are all strong and well thought out. Over my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work with most of the big Madison Ave firms and your work was right there.
mdg is completely integrated into our staff, serving as the marketing, communications and public relations arm for NASSP. The account lead from mdg has a voice in every major conversation that takes place within our organization and she and her entire team have greatly exceeded our expectations—helping us achieve the goals of our strategic plan and shape a more progressive, collaborative culture.
mdg helped bring my vision for the Craft Beverage Expo to life—creating the voice, visuals and overall branding strategy that would resonate with independent producers of beer, wine and spirits. At one point in the campaign, I commented that the copywriter assigned to the account clearly had been born to write for this audience! I couldn’t have asked for a better marketing partner for my inaugural event and I look forward to many more successful years together.
The following is an excerpt from the IBIE show daily:
Rich Hoskins, III, IBIE Committee vice-chairman, Colborne Corp., commented on the increased breadth of the show. “It is every bit as good or more than the past, and much of that is because of the concentrated and innovative marketing campaign through our marketing partner, mdg. Through Kimberly Hardcastle-Geddes at mdg, we worked well beyond our prior efforts and beyond traditional markets.
The results are evident. This year, 167 new companies will be exhibiting at the show, a 25 percent increase in new exhibitors, many of which are from ancillary markets.
mdg understands the challenges and needs of associations. As a department of one, I find their ability to provide a full service membership marketing campaign—from creative to strategies and tactic—that is easy for me to implement, has made mdg an indispensable extension of the NAM family.
This past year, the World Pet Association board of directors and staff members reevaluated our marketing and sales objectives with a focus on how we could maintain our leadership positioning and consistent growth. Consequently, mdg was brought in as our strategic marketing partner to provide insight, inspiration and a campaign that enables maximum reach and ROI.
