Held every three years, the Baking Expo™ brings together all segments of the professional baking community. However, the event had grown stale and needed a fresh recipe (pun intended) for content and audience acquisition. Enter mdg, the web and digital confectioners. Audiences were expanded by identifying and targeting new niche markets — including non-domestic wholesale bakers — with innovative omnichannel campaigns. The cherry on top was a bold new website that dramatically increased attendance, exhibitors and sponsorship sales. Delicious!
